oh Anna, I'm with you... I spent last Friday at a knitting convention with my mother, and she was giving me grief for wandering around feeling all of the woven things and dreaming about buying a loom....
Owning a loom has been my dream for several years...I imagine myself weaving in an upstairs studio room, while streaks of sunlight bounce off the hardwood floors...i think i'm a bit of a romantic ;)
This is my latest "thing"! I was given/lent two large floor looms and a table loom last year, and I'm just waiting to have the time to tackle one or more of them. I've had a couple of lessons from a local weaver, and I love it. Oh, for more free time! I wish you could come over to my house and set up some weaving on one of the looms, but I think that might just be too far to travel, even for a new craft. ;)
