Are two posts even possible for me in one day?? I guess I've just taken a lot of pictures in the past few days, so I have to unload them on you! Check out my new neighborhood!
Wow! The house in the first photo looks like a cozy English cottage from an Agatha Christie novel. My favorite photo is the second one; the beautiful light making all of the clothes on the lines glow. Just perfect.
How lucky you are to live in the Amana Colonies. I used to take art classes there, and go out to eat for special occasions there. They make the best rye bread. The woolen mills are amazing. These photos make my heart ache. If I ever make it back to Iowa,I will definitely show my husband the Amana Colonies.
I stumbled across your blog randomly on berlinhairbaby youtube channel, and was looking through your recent posts and thought wow those buildings look just like the Amana's, which happens to be a little congregations of 7 villiages right next to my sleepy little town. Anyway I thought that it just totally neat and random :) I hope you enjoy your church apartment :)
jennifer, yes, you must bring him out here sometime! its so lovely here, i couldn't be happier! actually getting to walk to a post office is a plus too.
allie jaye, oh wow! i always find it amazing when others live or have lived in iowa. i seem to think "people of the internet" just don't live here. haha. ;)
